| Details: | Job description Position: QA COP (Conformity of Production) Sr. Engineer Quality Assurance base in Chonburi/Rayong as below;
Report to: COP Section Manager
Responsibilities:
Support COP section performing testing evaluation activities and general improvements.
Ensure measuring and testing equipment are properly calibrated and in good condition.
Under the direction of QA COP Senior Manager, the QA COP. Sr. Engineer will take necessary steps and procedures, to lead and perform testing activities, control, calibrate and analyze measuring and testing equipment use to confirm product quality. Increase testing possibilities of the organization by providing new ideas and ensure that the tested parts/materials/products meet the necessary specifications.
Perform and lead testing activitities as routine COP tests, customer and legal requirements test.
Maintain quatily level ensuring that test activities are properly done (following working instructions) and products functions meet specifications.
Support in-hourse calibration of measuring and testing equipments used in the organization.
Ensure test equipments condition by providing maintenance when necessary.
Keep equipments in good condition.
Manage softwares used in daily applications such as SPC charts, sampling softwares, etc.
Keep Data and test records updated and under good control.
Revise related documentation assuing update on time.
Communicate with other sections for support or to inform test results.
Communicate with local / oversea suppliers about test equippments or general affairs.
Support an internal audit, customer audit and third party audit.
Maintain good house keeping-5S.
Provide solutions and ideas showing creativity in testing activities or general aspects.
Key Challenges & Problem Solving :
Imprement and maintain data base system for sampling and control of internal activities.
Deal with serveral activities simultaneously. Have a "wide-view" is required..
Establish testing method, in case of new equipments arrived.
Verify and improve testing method or testing procedure as needed.
Quick actions in case of and abnormality or problem is found.
Communicate to technical institute (either local or oversea) to get support as needed.
Keep good relations with all members of the team
Communicate and cooperate with relevant departments to get support as needed.
Education and Experienxe Requirements:
To have completed bachelor degree in industrial engineering or other suitable qualifications with at 3 years experience in products, or materials testing in automotive manufacturing sector.
Advanced English proficiency.
Advantages: In case the applicant have the following knowledge, it will be a key point in this selection:
Electricity / Mechatronics knowledge
Experience of repairing or maintenance of electronic equipments for testing or production.
Good command of MS-Acess and programming softwares
Testing experience of automotive products (especially seats or airbags).
Basic knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 and quality systems.
Basic knowledge of an automation system and data acquisition system .
Microsoft office : Word, Excel, Power point, others.
