Job describtion :
• Incoming inspection standard to all programs
• Setup incoming team and manage how incoming action at shop floor level
• Develop necessary documentation necessary to communicate information among team, suppliers, and management
• Control SPPM to company’s goal
• Control training and usage of all inspection and testing instruments
• Problem solving Plant’s supplier related issues
• Issue NC/SMRR through IRIS to all supplier on defective and nonconformance parts
• Follow up corrective action and ensure supplier is act as to the committed corrective action
• Raise MQR whenever needed on poor perform suppliers
• Setup Rework/ Contain action as need when problem cannot stop from supplier side
• Setup meeting with supplier to improve on PPM both actual and official also sometime need to review at supplier sites
• Be part of problem solving team
• Make and organize issue report or monitoring to management
• Training to incoming team on instrument and new standard of work
• Responsible to all after sale claim defect which concern supplier part quality issue
• Coordinated with SAQE Team to transfer supplier inspection responsibility to plant control
• Coordinate with SAQE team to rate supplier on supplier rating report
• Develop effective supplier grading system for future improvements
Qualification :
• Education: Bachelor’s degree is required or equivalent experience
• At least 1 year experiences in position of Supplier Quality Engineer and or Plant Quality Engineer
• Knowledge about problem solving tools such as 8D, Kepner Tregor, 5 Why etc.
• Knowledge about various supplier material such as foam, plastic, trim fabric, metal , harness
• Specific education and training in Quality disciplines (ISO/TS 16949, Continuous Improvement, Total Quality Management, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, DOE and SPC
• Computer and standard business software (Microsoft Office as an example)
• Manufacturing Quality System experience and customer communication activities
• Leadership / Management experience in or outside of Adient
• Good command in English communication
