Responsibilities:
· Report to Plant
Manager.
· Responsible for providing leadership to assigned personnel and
managing all production and related activities in compliance with company
regulations.
· Participating in plant
quality level improvement activities to meet customer expectations associated
with QC, and to drive quality systems required by customers.
· Participating in process
improvement activities including those relating to equipment modification, lay
out changes and equipment specification & installation.
· Reviewing performance
indicators relating to production objectives and targets on both a weekly and
monthly basis to ensure department objectives are met.
· Motivating subordinates
to broaden their scope of responsibility & accountability.
· Coordinating with
Maintenance and Manufacturing Engineer to maximize manufacturing machine
availability.
· Providing sufficient
good quality tools and accessories in accordance with manufacturing
requirements.
Requirement:
· Bachelors or Master Degree in Industrial
Engineering, Production Engineering, Engineer Management or any related field.
· Male / Age 35 years and above.
· Experience at least 7 years in Production,
Process Improvement and Lean Manufacturing System from automotive industry with
Lean culture.
· Experience in automotive seating assembly
plant or any other relevant products manufacturing e.g. interior products would
be an advantage.
· Experience if JIT manufacturing environment
· Experience at least 3 years in managerial
level (Assistant Manager or Manager).
· Possesses hands on experience in direct and
indirect labor analysis and planning. Process analysis – task time v. cycle
time, line balance, asynchronous vs synchronous.
